How It Works

The Reflective Sports Personality Assessment (RSPA) is CQ Athletics' own instrument. It asks 20 forced-choice questions across four dimensions: how an athlete takes in the game, how they reset after a mistake, how they compete, and what keeps them motivated.Each dimension is decided by a simple majority of the five questions that belong to it, which produces a four-letter CQ type. There is no ranking, no score to beat, and no better or worse type.The RSPA is a self-reflection tool for sport. It is not a psychological test, not a medical or diagnostic instrument, and it is not used to predict playing time, selection, or talent.
