Parents
Support Their Growth. Protect the Relationship.
Sports create meaningful opportunities for athletes to develop confidence, resilience, responsibility, and character—but they can also bring pressure, frustration, and difficult emotions.
CQ helps parents understand how their athlete naturally experiences competition and provides a healthier framework for responding to the moments that matter most.
When a coach shares an athlete's CQ profile, parents receive a private guide that helps them understand:
- How their athlete may experience pressure and adversity
- What they may need after a difficult performance
- How correction and feedback may affect them
- What may build or reduce their confidence
- How to encourage growth without adding unnecessary pressure
Parent guides provide principles for understanding and supporting the athlete, not scripts or labels. Profiles are shared privately by the coach and are never public.
